Here are the results from four tournaments in which Oklahoma Academic Team participated in the fall 2008 semester.
November 8, 2008: ACF Fall 2008 Southwest
Oklahoma Academic Team hosted ACF Fall 2008 Southwest on Saturday, November 8. Only five teams participated in the tournament: one was from the Liberal Arts and Science Academy in Austin, Texas, another was from Langston, and the remaining three were house teams. After playing a double round-robin, LASA won the tournament with a perfect 8-0 record.
The top five players in individual statistics were as follows: Robert Hayes (Oklahoma B) was first with 51.88 points per game, followed by Ryan Grabowski (Oklahoma A) with 50 PPG. Benji Nguyen (LASA) came in third with 38.12 PPG, Donovan Wood (Oklahoma C) was fourth with 31.88 PPG, and Matthew Rainwater (Oklahoma C) was fifth with 31.25 PPG.

November 15, 2008: Golden Hurricane Open 4
On Saturday, November 15, Oklahoma Academic Team sent two teams to Golden Hurricane Open 4, a mirror of Illinois Open 2008, at the University of Tulsa. After playing a single round-robin, all the teams were placed into three separate single-elimination brackets. Missouri State won the tournament.
Oklahoma A (Robert Hayes, Matthew King, and Brian Morrow) earned second place with a 9-2 record. Its only two losses came to champion Missouri State. Brian was third in the individual standings with 34.55 points per game. Oklahoma B (David Gagne, Matt Rainwater, Ted Swang, and Chris Terrill) earned fifth place with a 4-5 record.

November 16, 2008: TRASH Regionals 2008 Southwest
On Sunday, November 16, Oklahoma Academic Team sent two teams to compete in TRASH Regionals 2008 Southwest at the University of Tulsa. The teams competed in a single round-robin with eleven games.
Insert Bill O’Reilly Joke Here, featuring OAT alumni David and Lori Murphy, won the tournament with a perfect 11-0 record and earned the automatic bid to TRASHionals 12: The Dirty Dozen.
Liga de Justicia (Cliff Marroquin, Daniel Page, Matt Rainwater, and Chris Terrill) finished in third place with an 8-2 record. Oklahoma Gladiators (Ryan Grabowski, Robert Hayes, Donovan Wood, and Sarah Yost) finished in fourth place with a 7-3 record.
Liga de Justicia has earned an at-large bid to compete in TRASHionals 12 on April 18-19.

December 6, 2008: Boren Cup 25
Oklahoma Academic Team hosted the latest iteration of the Boren Cup high school academic tournament series, Boren Cup 25, on Saturday, December 6. Seven teams attended and played on an NAQT Invitational Series packet. After playing a single round-robin, the top four teams were placed into a single-elimination bracket. The A team from Parkview Arts and Sciences Magnet High School, located in Little Rock, Arkansas, won the tournament with an 8-1 record. That team, along with Sapulpa High School, qualified for the NAQT High School National Championship Tournament, to be held at the Hyatt Regency O’Hare Hotel in Chicago on May 29-31, 2009.
