November 7, 2009: TRASH Regionals Southwest
Oklahoma Academic Team hosted 2009 TRASH Regionals Southwest. Eight teams competed, and Bill O'Reilly Loves Teabagging (David Murphy, Mark Richey, and Jeremy White) defeated the Acafellas (Albert Bayer, Tyler Johnson, Trey Morris, Matt Nance, and Chris Romero) in the finals after both teams went 8-2 in round robin play. February 6, 2010: 2010 NAQT SCT, Region 11
Oklahoma Academic Team sent one team the Region 11 NAQT Sectional Championship Tournament at Missouri State University. Erin Cooper, Matthew King, and Brian Morrow competed in Division I and earned third place with a 7-5 record. Brian was the third-highest individual scorer with 47.66 points per 20 tossups heard. With a D-Value of 177.746 (34th place out of 78 teams), OAT did not finish well enough to qualify for a bid to the NAQT Intercollegiate Championship Tournament and did not accept a bid from the waiting list, thereby breaking a two-year streak of attending the NAQT ICT.
2010 ACF Regionals Southwest
Oklahoma Academic Team sent one team, consisting of Erin Cooper, Matthew King, Maggie Larkin, Gregory Maus, and Brian Morrow, to ACF Regionals Southwest at the University of Texas at Austin. A report and statistics will be posted here when they are found.
2010-2011 Oklahoma Academic Team Elections
These are the results for the elections to the 2010-2011 Oklahoma Academic Team Executive Council:
