Sword Bowl (January 28):
OAT hosted a mirror of Tennessee-Chattanooga's Sword Bowl on January 28. Louisiana-Lafayette won the tournament, and Angelo Malabanan of Tulsa A had the best individual performance. Visit the Tournament Results page for statistics.
NAQT Sectionals (February 11):
OAT attended NAQT Sectionals at the University of Tulsa on February 11. The Division I team (Emily Duda, Jeremy Hixson, and Daniel Howie) earned second place. Tulsa declared the top ten scorers All-Stars, and Jeremy and Emily achieved this honor in Division I. They finished, respectively, in second place and ninth place.
OAT also fielded two Division II teams. Oklahoma A (Ryan Grabowski, Alan Haberman, Jamie Powers, and Donovan Wood) won the Division II competition and a bid to compete at the 2006 NAQT Intercollegiate Championship Tournament. Oklahoma B (Julie French, Matthew King, and Andrew Pearl) earned fifth place. Like in Division I, OU had two Division II All-Stars. Matthew finished in first place, and Jamie finished in third place.
