The University of Tulsa will host two tournaments, collectively called "TOAST and the Buzz", during the weekend of April 15-16.
The first tournament is the Tulsa Open Academic Spring Tournament (TOAST), held on Saturday, April 15. This will be a mirror of USC's Ghetto Warz (which means that there will be at least one question on the 'hood in every packet).
The second is the Buzz Peterson Anti-Memorial Tournament. This will be a TRASH tournament written by Angelo Malabanan and Andy Walz, the two leading officers of Tulsa's academic team.
The registration cap is 13 teams per tournament, so we need to act quickly if we wish to enter. Moreover, each school will be allowed to register only two teams per tournament. We need to pick our teams carefully. More information can be found on the Yahoo! quizbowl group.
