Almost two weeks after the Sectional Championship Tournaments, NAQT has released the bids for both divisions of the Intercollegiate Championship Tournament, to be held at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities, on April 13-14.
The South SCT had five of its teams earn bids. Harding, Oklahoma State, Texas, and Texas A&M have received bids in Division I. Texas won the open title, Harding won the undergraduate title, Texas A&M qualified by virtue of their performance, and Oklahoma State invoked their automatic bid as the host of the South SCT. In Division II, Oklahoma B (Kevin Bagnall, David Gagne, Ted Swang, and Chris Terrill) has received a bid. Both Missouri-Rolla and Oklahoma C (Erin Cooper, Emily Duda, Matthew King, and Sarah Yost) have been placed on the waitlist in fourth and fifth place respectively. NAQT has complete lists of invited teams for Division I and Division II on its Web site.
The deadline to accept the bid is Thursday, March 1, 2007, at 11:59:59 PM EST.
